Instructions for gaining entry to the June 19, 2004 Mt. Washington Road Race

lottery.
The 2004 race will be held as usual on the third Saturday of June, the 19th.To
register for the 2004 lottery, come to this site between March 1 (after 6am EST)
and March 15 (before midnight EST) and follow the instructions posted here at
that time. If you plan to register on-line and pay with a credit card, then
anytime during those two weeks will do fine. If you mail in a check you should start early in the lottery period to allow time for the
mail to ARRIVE BY March 15. There is NO advantage to registering at 6:00 am on
the first day of March, so hopefully people will register at different times during the two weeks.
For 2004 !!
- One-step lottery registration.
- No paper entries. All registrations will be done on-line. At the
completion of your registration, you will be able to print out your info.
and save it.
- Credit card payment is the preferred method. It is simple and
cheaper,
but you may still choose to pay by check if you wish.
- Groups of 2 or more who wish to sign up together to be accepted or
rejected TOGETHER, may again register much faster on-line. No more gathering
of paper entries and mailing in with one check. Each member of a group
registers and pays individually. One member of the group (group leader)
first determines a group ID number (usually their 10 digit telephone number)
and gives it to all the members. Each member then registers on-line, using
this exact ID number. Group Leader MUST register First.
- If paying by check using regular mail, you will note a special address, (only for the lottery), in
the instructions. This is a special address only to be used March 1-15. Mailed
checks and a Self-Addressed Return Envelope,
must ARRIVE by
March 15 or they will be automatically rejected.
